Brad Paxton, CEO of Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, receives an anonymous telephone call claiming five test patients have died during clinical trials of the company's revolutionary new diet drug. With only days remaining before the FDA's scheduled release date, Brad frantically investigates the allegation of the drug's harmful affects.
