The world, reminded of Frank's unusual ability, goes mad as the news spreads. Crowds see him as an "angel of God" and a "Miracle Man." Media trucks clog their street. Fanatics erect shrines. Demand for Frank's "too intimate" cure becomes a troublesome burden from which he seeks desperately to escape. Worse, a Mafia don kidnaps Frank and makes him an offer he dare not refuse—yet cannot possibly accept.
Seeking to duplicate his "power" to benefit others, scientists offer to discover the source of Frank's ability. He leaps at the chance to assist, hoping for an antidote to exorcise his unwelcome "curse."
The experiments drag him from bedroom to bedroom as women plead for the life-saving benefits of his unusual "intimate treatment," pushing him toward the cliff-edge of an early grave.
