This is an Irish novel about a drunken little monkey. Madness, Paranoia, isolation, hot-desking. Welcome to the world of Moonbeam, a chain smoking, alcoholic Irish, Capuchin monkey trying to make it as a Web Designer in a London filled with souls drained of all life and love.
Apparently hounded by a saboteur intent on ruining the little chance he has with life, though this may well be a drink and insomnia addled delusion, Moonbeam struggles through in the world of men and women. A world of work, disappointment, the clock, the bar and the bedroom. His little heart is filled with fire, for people, for his destiny, but these are grand dreams for a little Capuchin in a pork pie hat with a hangover.
We travel with him from London to Italy in search of his dreams. Can it be that pure furious courage is all it takes?
