The Micronet Chronicles: Parts I & II

At the beginning of the 21st century, two scientists announce the creation of Micronet brain implants. They claim that the implant endows its host with increased brainpower, amazing health and long life. In fear of Micronet Technology, religious leaders and lawmakers conspire together and ban Micronet Technology. Meanwhile, Western philosophy clashes with Islamic dogma plunging the world into the Fundamentalist Wars. Micronet Technology re-emerges from the shadows to determine the outcome of the war. However, there is a price to pay for peace. Murkily the price is agreed upon, but as the dust settles and the rule of law returns, humanity demands that the first principle, "Human Preservation above all creatures and creations…" is enforced against the manufacturer of Micronet Technology, the Tapp Consortium…but is it too late?
