This second book in the Jack Madson trilogy finds our anti-hero in Georgetown, Washington, DC where, after a rough night of clubbing, he awakens to the thrill of early morning sex with exotic dancer, Amber Starr. One problem: he has no memory of her or the past twenty-four hours and discovers a severed head in the trunk of his Mustang convertible. Is Madson a murderer? Before he can get his feet back on the ground, he is asked by old high school nemesis, Tom Dougherty—now head of East Coast operations for the FBI—to help disentangle him from a career threatening blackmail scam perpetrated by sexy porn queen/prostitute Havana Spice.
