About This Book

"I LEAVE ALL MY WORLDLY GOODS TO MOLLY GWILLIAM, ONLY LIVING MEMBER OF THE FAMILY WITH THE SPUNK AND STUFFING TO BE WORTHY OF THE NAME"

But "all my worldly goods," as left to Molly by her great-uncle, turned out to be an ancient fallen-down house steeped in traditional Welsh superstations. And the house was inhabited by the Slannucks, a repulsive and shifty couple who refused to vacate.

Determined to claim the house on the Black Moor, Molly turned for advice to Geoff Hughes, an amiable attentive scientist she's met while traveling, whom she now trusted--and loved. But he very curiously suggested she move into a deserted summer house nearby to outwait and outwit the Slannucks before they made good their threats.

Now Molly was alone on Black Moor; Geoff had conveniently left her alone for "business reasons." And now she was at the mercy of the crafty Slannucks, who attacked her constantly, each time inventing a better and more deadly diabolical accident...
