Pick any given place, like Lee County, and the multitude of stories attributed to the people there are fascinating. Select any given family name from the area, and the tales from and about them can even become weird. Here are sagas of three members of the Hill clan, including many details, fears, lives, afflictions, strange happenings, and their effect on the people themselves, as well as their friend sand contacts. There is the claustrophobic hovering of the surrounding mountains, the fascinating springs and streams, the cliffs, peaks and caves and their denizens. Then there are the strong conflicts between family members, with some of them having strange powers. All, all are told here, just the way we first heard them.
