About This Book

A family seeks vacation respite from the turmoil of their world in a small, unknown seaside resort. The seemingly perfect rental seems to degenerate around them as the mother compulsively continues to clean, the father finds new inspiration to write a novel that takes its own strange turn, and the two teenage children find companions in the village. A matriarch, who claims to be descended from a long line of Druids, leads the inhabitants of San Sebastian. She says the village has preserved their way of life and remains isolated from the world around them except for the yearly renters they allow into their strange beach house. When the family discovers the true reason why they have been brought to this place, it may be too late to escape.
