About This Book

In the early 1800s, a young Indian woman fell in love with a white man. She left her tribe and married him despite her tribe's objections. Two children were born from their marriage. A boy and, four years later, a little girl.

Late one night, their log home became engulfed in flames, trapping the family inside. Unable to escape, they all perished. Villagers living in this small town today talk of the many hauntings that have occured since that terrible night in 1853.

A young doctor's wife is the object of their haunting as they attempt to contact her and inform her of her husband's unfaithfulness. Her best friend and neighbor know of the doctor's cheating, but, not wanting to hurt her, she keeps silent...for a time.

For every woman who has lived with an unfaithful husband...there is light at the end of the tunnel.
