The Gum Tree Valley Stories

Gum Tree Valley Stories is a bilingual English-Indonesian picture book suitable for children aged 3 to 10 years. It is designed to support young readers learning English or Indonesian.

There are three stories:
 Yusuf O'Mallee of Gum Tree Valley
In the first story there is a new baby coming to Yusuf's family. Yusuf is excited and he helps his Mum and Dad prepare for the baby.

Wendy comes to play 
In the second story Wendy comes to play at Yusuf's house. Wendy is not like other girls for she is a bit wild. It is not easy to play with Wendy, but Yusuf finds a way.

 Brown Teddy
In the third story Brown Teddy is missing, until Yusuf remembers what happened to Brown Teddy.
 
Gum Tree Valley is a miniature, multicultural town built by the author. It represents the culmination of 35 years of experience in fine miniature making. The author made the sets and modeled the characters for the stories. The images are full of fascinating detail and will delight children and adults alike, whilst they learn Indonesian or English.
