Ursula Mink is the Robot Lady to millions of women in the southern California area, in her live TV show, The Good Life. It's the near future, an era of household robots, security robots, and express tracks for commuting into cities. Houses talk to their owners, fix dinner, and sort the mail. Ursula's fans envy her confidence with gadgets, her beauty, and her fame. They are sure she sips martinis by a huge pool with gorgeous men lined up to meet her every whim. Ursula lives on muffins and fruit punch and she is lonely in spite of her handsome celebrity boyfriend. Her greatest joy is pulling weeds out of her flowerbeds, until she meets her homeless next-door neighbor.
