The Freedom's Watch Committee

Jeff Evan’s career as an FBI agent has led him into an investigation of The Freedom’s Watch Committee, a militia group thought to be involved in bombings of federal installations. He is sidetracked when he is assigned to the investigation of the assassination of the President, only to discover that the very group he was investigating is responsible. As he begins to close in on the leads he has uncovered, he is shocked to find out that his best friend from college is leading The Freedom’s Watch Committee. In a meeting of violence and betrayal with Crawford Jackson, he is shot and left for dead. But due to miraculous circumstances he survives to complete his investigation, returning to his work with the FBI on September 11 facing a whole new world of possibilities, including that his and Crawford's paths will cross again .
