The Dream Quilt

Every child has bad dreams. But the Bible tells us that our God is strong and loving and wants to protect us. And children can cling to that wonderful truth, using it to help drive fearful feelings away.

In The Dream Quilt, a little boy named Michael is having trouble with bad dreams. Then one day, Michael learns about the special quilt game Granny Rose used to play with his mother when she was little and had bad dreams. He wants to play, too. The game works. Michael's dreams are now quite lovely. But when the quilt gets taken away, he learns that it wasn't the blanket that protected him at all–and that the only thing he really needs to feel secure is the God who keeps him warm and loved…and safe.
