About This Book

Heather Prince, the Diamond Princess, is twenty-six, beautiful, single, and the major stockholder in the Diamond Corporation. When Heather walks into her office in May of 2005, she finds that she is in the midst of a lawsuit. She prepares herself for the legal battle. Brad Crinshaw, once the second largest stockholder in the Diamond, alleges that his father, Albert Crinshaw, was not issued the correct amount of stock when the Diamond and Ranch hotels merged in 1999. Heather and the Diamond's corporate attorney fight the lawsuit and claim victory, but they become aware that someone is trying to kill her. Heather does not know who it is, nor do the police. The same day that Heather finds out about the lawsuit, she meets Paxton Booker, who is a Marine pilot stationed in Alaska. Their relationship grows, and offers Heather adventure in Alaska with the Iditarod Sled Dog Race, fly-fishing in Utah, and love.
