The Children of Mother Goose is a full color Children's Picture Book, featuring an all new collection of pastel illustrations of children in a timeless update of the original beloved rhymes. Artist Pat Thompson, portrait artist and illustrator, has created this art, combining her love of children's portraits and illustration. Through the years, these rhymes have lingered and continued, passed from generation to generation. Pat remembers her Mother and Grandmother reading and reciting these beloved rhymes, reading them to her own children when they were little. She carefully selected each character and rhyme to timelessly record those that are relatable to all children of today. The children of Mother Goose are among us still ... playing Pat-a-Cake, singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star or dressing up as Little Bo Peep. Each old rhyme continues, made new again as their parents read to them at bed time while the moon sings along...
