Terrorism Subdued: Now Save the Planet

For many people in this Planet, World Government under the United Nations is a long-standing dream. But will it ever become reality? There are now indications that a number of people and institutions around the globe, indeed, believe that it will. A few examples to illustrate this:



Kofi Annan, Secretary General of the United Nations' recent pronouncement – "fifty billion dollars"… ( from developed nations) would be a start in lifting the poorer nations of the world from their impoverishment.

Next, a Green Party manifesto in part . . . " humans have a unique responsibility for the stewardship of the Earth. No species, especially on the upper end o the food chain can have unchecked, exponential growth without depleting the Earth's carrying capacity."



[Planned World Population Control] . . . "consumption – oriented lifestyles that have evolved in the industrial world have resulted in a minority of people consuming a majority of resources." [A call for world resource sharing in a more egalitarian world society]



The author excepts the premise that World Government becoming reality for the purposes of this novel [poetic license, you know]. But its primary emphasis herein focuses on World Government's effects on the lives of people as the action ebbs and flows around the globe. Rich characters enliven the plot with nations and political systems in conflict making this a thrilling journey, one filled with suspense and many surprises for the readers enjoyment.
