At a climactic moment she falls in with a luscious New Orleans stripper, with Bo as the go-betweenâ€"a satisfactory arrangement till he gives way to a furious jealously and returns to his other young love, a basketballer and Miss Everything named Alva Gray Littleton, who promises him devotion and lasting contentment amid the strife and turmoil of an uncertain world.
