U.S. Marshal Mark Young returns to Wyoming hot on the trail of legendary bad men Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Cassidy, Young figures, can lead him to the murderous Tom McCarty and his guntough gang. But the elusive Cassidy has no use for the law -- nor does McCarty, who has his eye on the Circle D, the most prosperous cattle outfit in the valley. The Circle D belongs to the young widow Molly Dunne, Marshal Young's old flame, now being courted by the ruthless McCarty under an assumed identity. Unless Mark Young can stop him, McCarty plans to give Molly a wedding ring -- and a bullet.
