Spriggs

Francis Farrington Spriggs, the notorious pirate, is hunted by Toby Heath, when the young man discovers his family and friends murdered by that renegade's crew. Enraged with revenge, Toby is forced into an early maturity and sets out to find and kill the despoilers of his happiness. As the pirates are roaming, pillaging, plundering, and murdering, Toby is lost at sea, rescued by a slave trader and meets a young slave girl. They sail for Bermuda in a ship given to him by Anne Bonny and begin their adventure. Spriggs is also being trailed by Captain Solgard in the man-of-war Greyhound, a man sworn to bring the pirate to the noose. In this tale of excitement and terror, magic and ghosts, hardship and love, sea-battles and misdeeds they pursue Spriggs, leaving a bloody trail across the Caribbean Sea.
