Richard and Rona shared a birth date, a love of sailing and a flat -- as might be expected -- overlooking the river in Maidenhead. But while Richard worked as a designer with a London firm of marine engineers, his sister stayed at home writing and illustrating books for children. When a letter telling Rona of Uncle Joe's accident coincided with Richard's row with his firm, the twins decided to uproot themselves. They would start a sailing school based on their uncle's boatyard in Devon. But not thus were they to dispose of "The Blunderer" nor, to Rona's chagrin, the beautiful but calculating Chloe, who had her eye on Richard ...
