Spooky Tells

Sarah “Spooky” Knight, a clairvoyant private detective with the ability to teleport, and Detective Michael Balcher of the Las Vegas Police Department are thrown together in a suspenseful race to outwit a dangerous man who calls himself the Ice Man. The Ice Man, who accidentally discovers Spooky’s deepest kept secretâ€"the fact that she can teleportâ€"intends to capture Spooky and sell her to the highest bidder. He corners Spooky and Balcher on a casino rooftop and forces them over the edge so that he can video the act and have proof of Spooky’s ability. Spooky grabs onto Balcher and teleports them back to her bedroom and in the process, she indelibly entwines their memories and most amazing of all, she changes Balcher’s brain chemistry to closely match hers. He is now psychic. Through perils and trials and a few sensual escapades, they eventually overcome the threat from the Ice Man and Spooky’s secret remains a secret from the world a little while longer. Balcher leaves the LVPD and sets up shop with Spooky as her husband and permanent partner at the Spooky Knight Detective Agency.
