Soft Spot

Soft Spot reads like the headlines from this morning's newspaper. In this political thriller, two computer programmers, Matthew Grant and Kelly Johnson, discover a senatorial election four years earlier was rigged. Someone tampered with the electronic voting machines to give the senatorial race to a dark horse third party candidate, regardless of how the people actually voted. They also uncover a conspiracy to do the same thing in the upcoming presidential election, which is less than two weeks away. When they take this information to authorities, they find themselves the targets of an assassin. While running for their lives, they must find a way to warn the nation! They learn this conspiracy reaches all the way into the White House. Matt and Kelly know they cannot accomplish this alone. So, they enlist the help of others; but can they stop this well-financed and powerful threat to our democracy, which is bent on undermining the fundamental principles of our nation by stripping every American of the power of his or her vote?
