Sneak Attack!

Who among us has failed to ponder the prospect of an all-out terrorist attack upon this country--an attack that knocks out the key electrical power grids and plunges a whole region of the nation under a curtain of darkness? This is "not" the story of such an attack, but rather of its aftermath...when the lights go out and cannot be switched back on. On a more rudimentary plane, this is a human story, the tale of a man and woman as ill-suited and ill-matched as nature ever intended, together pitted against an implacable foe. And when the crisis comes, both find themselves thrown back upon their own individual resilience and strength of character, often stretched to the limits, where pride and despair surge and flow like the line of the mountain ridges they find themselves trapped within.
