What do a lady cop and a hog-riding electrician have in common?

When “Pistol” Pete Plummer roars into Pleasure Park on his Harley Davidson, he’s looking for a weekend of sun, sand, fun, and sex â€" without any complications. What he finds is J.C. Winters, a rookie cop working undercover as an erotic dancer in one of the boardwalk’s men’s clubs. Male fantasies, fostered by a very active libido, have Pete in a tailspin -- blown out of the saltwater by a leggy blond riding a feisty attitude.

After two heinous crimes against local strippers occur, J.C. Winters is sent to work at Hot Tamales to discover and collar what appear to be one or more malicious predators. Giving into the electric attraction she feels when Pete is around is not part of her plan.

Sparks fly when Pete’s very potent allure and his resemblance to J.C.’s dream man combine to weaken J.C.’s resolve, resulting in a storm of passion that showers thunder and lightning onto several long, sultry weekends. Will Labor Day and the end of summer, plus the 300 miles separating them, destroy their tentative relationship?
