About This Book
Like any other child, Saul can be frustrated and angry one moment, warm and loving the next. Unlike most children, though, his only view of the world is through the walls of an incubator. Born after only 23 weeks in the womb, he fit into the palm of the midwife's hand. But he arrived kicking and screaming with a fierce will to survive.
Saul is extremely vulnerable, but also very wise. As he tries to make sense of the outside world, entirely dependent on those around him, he teaches us the nature of love, of trust and forgiveness. He bravely battles all the expected complications of prematurity, and several rare and unexpected conditions as well - throughout it all we're graced with his witty observations, allowed to witness his developing relationships and are taken along on his mischievous, imaginative journeys.
