Revenge Road

Lane Harper is a former professional football player. Harper has math skills at the genius level which lets him crank out betting lines that draw lots of high stakes gamblers. A high-profile media person wants to talk about the upcoming football season and invites Harper to his yacht for a party weekend. But instead a helicopter leaves Harper on a rotting commercial trawler with no power and anchored a hundred miles out in the Gulf. The sun sets and Harper is alone in the dark. Just before dawn a helicopter flies in and Harper becomes a witness to a vendetta of torture and murder. Who plopped Harper out on that trawler and why? Thus begins an action-packed suspense ride involving a mysterious Oceanographer, an underworld of environmental extremists, and a vicious hit man. When Harper’s sister, who is also his bookie partner, is kidnapped, he must save her. But the sister is now bait in a deadly game with environmentalists determined to expose the Doctor of Oceanography and his crimes against Planet Earth.
