About This Book

Reckless, a rock band in the '80s from England, begins its journey to fame and all the consequences when they take on Chad Richardson, a 17-year-old guitar player and singer. Chad finds all his dreams of rock fame and fortune come true, but learns there is a price to pay and sometimes a heavy one. Drugs, scandal, groupies, and love found then lost time and again. He pursues his dreams despite many conflicts. Sarah Marks, a young woman in her 20s singing back-up vocals for a '70s band that's fading fast in the '80s, finds her dreams of rock and roll stardom come true when catapulted to the limelight next to Richardson as his partner, only to find her life unfulfilled romantically. She faces hardships of rock and fame that are different for a woman than a man - her safety, her privacy all up for grabs. She finds herself falling for the wrong men time and again. Sarah realizes that the one thing she wants most she can not have - the young rock star she sings with. They both discover their love for each other is not only their biggest strength, but also their biggest weakness.
