The Toronto Blessing is coming to town Evangelist Joshua Moses will be holding revival services at the Church of the Living Vine. Believing that the Blessing will be the most exciting spiritual experience in the history of Deepwater, members of the Vine eagerly prepare for the big event. Joel Trent and Tobi Kirkland make plans to attend the first service, too. But both are reluctant. Meanwhile, a helicopter shooting missiles in the dead of night at a residential section of Deepwater have the police baffled. Who is the mysterious man named Lynx, who drew this lethal fire? How does the transient toddler with the angelic face fit into the picture? And where is the only woman with the answers?
