About This Book
Osceola's Cave
An overview
Genre: Fiction, Graphic adult horror.
In book 1, "The Discovery," a rogue forester (Paul) purchases a property in citrus county, Florida after discovering a cave on it.
Paul has evil intentions, first evidenced when he was in high school and exhibited psychotic behavior.
In North Carolina, a young woman (Mary Ann), is given to Eric Rudolph by her father as a love-slave captive. She escapes to Florida. She then goes to work in a shoe store with a goal of exacting revenge on men for the way she had been treated by men. In her first strike against men, Mary Ann travels to High Springs, Georgia; there, she selects a random victim, whom she seduces and then murders as he poses for her at the head of the falls.
Paul has a mean, sadistic and twisted temperament. He befriends a pool-shooting, retired fireman (Tony), who is bored and looking for excitement. He finds the excitement on a stream in north Florida, where he and Paul kidnap a couple and rape the woman.
Paul and Tony decide to more carefully plan their next adventure, and they waylay two female canoeists on the Santa Fe river. There, they engage in extended torture, rape and murder of the two victims on an island. They destroy any evidence by dismembering and sinking the bodies and moving the victim's canoe downstream to the Suwannee River. The book ends with Paul scheming his next exploits.
In book 2, "The Cave House," Paul wants to use a cave on his property as his location for future escapades. Through an interconnected series of events he expands his perverted group of individuals, to include another young retiree (Dan) and Mary Ann. An elevator shaft and stairs are disguised under the floor in a cabin that they build over the cave entrance.
In her second strike against men, Mary Ann travels to Key West, where she seduces a sailboat skipper and then kills him on his boat.
Dan meets an untimely and gruesome end at the hands of Mary Ann and the teeth of her pet Gambian pouch rats.
In book 3, "Q-Boat," the accomplices engage in a third, carefully planned and more elaborate capture. After selecting a horse farm with two female occupants, they hijack a UPS truck and its driver.
For their fourth adventure, Paul plans to, and does, capture three students with the use of a school bus. Before the students can be harmed, a surprise ending has the tables turned on each of the men by Mary Ann.
