One Touch of Espionage

Meet peacetime US Army Counter-intelligence agent Horatio Delmer Touchstone, a.k.a. "Touch." He is stubborn and proud, has a tendency to romanticize, and carries an unbridled optimism which occasionally verges on naiveté, so to survive, he uses his highly analytical mind, backed by integrity, tenacity, and imagination. While serving peacetime NATO the daydreamer Touch takes a vacation across Europe. His best friend and roommate, Nick, uses the unaware Touch as a decoy to help expose the identity of a double agent in the unit. Touch quickly learns that he is the center of the "violent accidents" that are occurring around him. After evading death in Switzerland and Italy he confronts Nick, and together, the two turns the tables. In the end Touch he knows way out of his league and survives not becaus he is lucky, but because he is clever.
