California is the last place on earth Kentucky native, Doreen Sizemore, ever wants to go. People are a little crazy out there. But when her cousin, Agnes, begs her to come along on a train trip to San Francisco, Doreen has to go. After all, blood kin is blood kin and her cousin needs help.
