Murder on the Trek in Bhutan is the 7th book in the Mulligan Mysteries Series. Finally, Mulligan and Veronica go on their long planned trek to Bhutan to go to what may be the best wild hot springs in the world. Joining them are Margarita and Mia from previous books as well as their new friend Constance, a Buddhist lawyer. This is a very difficult trek at high altitudes. With the help of Sherpas, they succeed to arrive at the hot springs but only to discover a trekker from another group is missing and found likely murdered. Following is a search with the help of the Bhutanese police for a suspected porter and  a maze of large trust funds, mysterious bank transfers and suspected brother of the victim.
