Mule Tide

A troubled child, a wayward deviant, and a guiltless fiend separately find themselves beckoned to the base of a mysterious tree. Each finds the purpose in their lives they have so desperately been seeking, for nobody( s) like(s) them. Previously only concerned with their own being, their vision expands to a global nay universal scale. As their purposes diverge, their lives intertwine. Set at odds with each other, the true nature of this tree playfully unravels its mystery. Once the tree is welcomed into your head, it rearranges your being, landscaping views and kicking out tenets like a wild mule. Engage in these artistic words, the ruckus, and carnage caused by believing in yourself, when yourself is something the rest consider trouble. This is all the hoopla and happenstance that went into creating the short story, The Phantom Tree.
