About This Book

Molly's Christmas Gift is a fairy tale about a little girl who, after her father dies, has to leave her home. She and her mother move in with Mrs. Totten, who lives in a small apartment over the shop she owns. To Molly, the shop is like Heaven until she visits the house where her mother works and she sees a nursery packed with wonderful toys! Toys she knows she can never have until Harry, the shop's delivery boy, tells her about Father Christmas. He explains to Molly that all she needs to do is write a letter to Santa and ask him for whatever she wants and, on Christmas morning, she will receive it. But Molly has a problem...she can't read or write. With Christmas approaching, and money tight for everyone, Molly decides to ask Santa for something completely different. This surprising wish leads to Christmas changing for every boy and girl throughout the world. Mandie O'Brien lives in Dundonald in Northern Ireland where she is busy working on her second children's book.
