Memories Aren'T Enough

Maryanne Neeley's husband is killed in a tragic accident just as they plan a move to Seattle, where he would teach and she would attend college. Maryanne, her son, and mother, move to Seattle without him. After saving her son's life from terrorists, Joe Hamilton, head of Seattle's Anti-Terrorist Unit, is in for one big surprise when he meets Maryanne. As time passes and Maryanne finally graduates, the spark of interest that ignites and grows between them is met with mixed emotions. Her deceased husband was merely a small-town college professor, and she lost him; how can she take a chance on Joe? His job places him in the midst of danger every day. Sometimes, though, fate steps in. When danger appears and threatens her life and her son's life, she has no choice. She turns to Joe for protection.
