About This Book

U.S. Navy Captain Dan McKay, along with his family and a small Navy crew, occupies an uninhabited island near the Marshall Islands in the Pacific. Soon after their arrival they enlist the aid of a native family from a neighboring island to help in buildings construction while the Navy crew clears the island of hazards from its use as Navy bombing practice. There are many unexpected twists on McKays Island, from a sleeping volcano to human skeletons from World War II found in a sea cave. With the help of amateur radio and a Piper J-3 Cub airplane, the McKay family is always having adventures on McKays Island.
