About This Book

Stranded on Mars after Earth's destruction, the inhabitants of Mariner Station fight for survival. Lieutenant Keran Travis, a GUARD officer, faces a personal tragedy when his adopted father is murdered. His investigation leads him to the NES (New Earth Society), a group of rebels led by the wrongly accused Org Vladistok. Keran's world shatters when he discovers his real father is a key NES member. His father reveals a shocking secret: the GUARD's plan to terraform Mars will take centuries. He proposes an alternative - escaping to a habitable planet using the UES Rigel starship. This revelation throws Keran into a conflict of loyalties. A daring raid on Mariner Station ensues, leaving Keran horrified by the violence. He chooses to stay on Mars, rejecting his father's methods. The NES escapes with the Rigel, encountering dangers on a ravaged Earth before using powerful crystals to travel through time and space. They rescue survivors and eventually find aliens with the technology to fix the universe's temporal problems. Back on Mars, Keran and a colleague discover alien technology that helps restore Earth and make Mars habitable. In a final twist, a crew member with amnesia finds himself aboard a shuttle approaching the Rigel, in a past era. They journey back to a restored Earth, leaving behind the temporal chaos that threatened to destroy reality.
