While hunting with his brother, a sixteen year old named Brian Stevens goes through a gate that leads to another world. He is accidentally poisoned and is found by a beautiful girl and her grandfather. They care for him and he gets well. He stays with them for five years and he learns their ways. He finds a way back to his own world and finds that though he has aged five years he is back at the same time that he left. He learns that a group of men are planning to pillage the other world. He loves the girl and he knows that he has to find a way to stop the men and save the one he loves.
