Magic is dying in the land of Elsynvaal. The Island of Saravaal is devastated and unreachable, smothered under an enchanted fog. The surviving tsunami mages have dispersed leaving Brother Ambrose alone to continue the search for the Renegade Mage, talEbol, who disappeared during the disruption. The Renegade Emasiyo is in captivity in Mage Hall, unconscious and in a state resembling a coma. Four years pass before Ambrose has a breakthrough – a command from the god to rescue a man about to be shipwrecked off the Avendon coast. With his companions Gaarstang, Druadan, Ana and Myrrhelyn, Ambrose heads for the site of the foretold wreck. But it it possible that the scarred amnesiac they rescue really holds the answers to all of Ambrose's questions about Gheron talEbol? Or is he just one more complication? 'Lady Myrrhelyn' is the final part in the Mages of Elsynvaal series, which began with 'Goodnight Sweet Prince' and continued in 'Caught Between (Two worlds)' and 'The Crystal Mage'.
