All Katie Barker had ever wanted to be was a good wife and mother. Then her scientist husband perfected a process to successfully clone a human embryo, and suddenly their quiet world fell to pieces. Now sought by two world governments bent on using Doctor Barker’s discovery to create a world of designer citizens, David and Katie Barker, and their young daughter Gwen flee into whirlwind of deceit and death. Katie and Gwen manage to escape from their captors, but are now alone and on the road without any clue where to seek safety.
