*KATIE, AMERICA’S FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT This story spans four generations. It starts during WW II, then **Mig Alley, North Korea, and ends with Katie, America’s first Woman President. Although this story is fictitious, many of the happenings and backgrounds are true. During WW II, Ivan is stationed with the allied armed forces in Great Britain. Here he lives in a free democratic society and is attached to an American fighter group. He flies many missions with his American friends and distinguishes himself as an ace pilot. After WW II, when Ivan returns to Russia, he learns how to fly the new MIG, Russian jets. When the Korean War broke out, he is sent to Korea where his mission was to engage and destroy American Aircraft. He realizes what he wants is not to fight and kill the Americans, but to join with them. Since having lived in a free society during WW II, it is his dream of freedom to defect from his communist country. The future for his family must be in America. With a pregnant wife and young son at home, he needs to find a way to get them away with him. He has a plan. Will it work? Maybe not.
