About This Book

Greg Ashmont lived two lives, one as historian in the Indian Affairs Department in New Delhi, the other as an agent for International Espionage. He was killed in an airplane crash while bringing a drug lord to justice. His father, a business man on the avenue of Chandni Chowk, began to harass his daughter-in-law and five grandchildren, blaming them for the death of his only son. They leave the family estate, the children becoming street urchins, picking pockets as a prank, learning the ways of the street, until they lift their grandfather's wallet, discovering far more than money. Jana, the only daughter, flees India alone to find her mother's family and friends in Paris. She travels Europe, the United States and back to India as she works to clear her father's name.
