About This Book

Italy for Murderers takes the reader on a suspense-filled vicarious vacation from Italy to Greece as an adulterous duo try to execute the perfect murder while on a European holiday. Damon Deville, the antagonist, is an insurance salesman who has studied the mortality tables to determine what is the least suspicious and most lucrative way to kill his wife so that he and his mistress can cash in on her inflated life insurance policy. The book opens with the murder plot which the perpetrators package as a second honeymoon. Damon’s Italian lover is an American expatriate who bought a new face after faking her death in order to escape from the mafia. Celeste, the victim-in-waiting, is so uncannily comfortable with death that she has taken a temp job at a funeral parlor. This makes the tale a dark comedy, but it’s mostly a mystery that takes many twists and turns before arriving at a surprise ending!
