Incidental Death

When the attractive widow of a wealthy surgeon asks an off-duty sheriff's deputy to install a home security system for her, she has an ulterior motive. She needs to keep track of the investigation into her husband's death. His skeletal remains have been found in a remote area inside a wrecked car. With a 3.4 million dollar insurance check on the line, she will do anything to make sure the case is closed quickly including seducing the deputy. But her haste to have her husband cremated against his religious beliefs makes the sheriff uneasy and the insurance investigator insists on digging deeper. The county prosecutor gets involved too, but his inexperience-he's a rookie-makes him reluctant to pursue the investigation. He is busy with lower profile case-one he thinks he can win. When people around the investigation start dying, the authorities realize that the forces behind the suspicious death of the surgeon are bigger and more insidious than anyone realized and a killer may get away with the perfect murder.
