In the Service of My Queen, a science fiction novel, recounts the tales of valor of Madrias, the only knight in the service of Queen Ilella. Set on the planet of Camelot, renamed in honor of King Arthur and his court, the twenty?year?old girl?queen has ruled over the planet for over a thousand years. Because of his great love for Laysse, the queen's ward, Madrias must show courage in face of unimaginable horrors that confront him. Laysse needs protection all the time. She needs the assurance that he is very brave, too brave for anything bad to ever happen to him, herself, Queen Ilella, and later Zarita, the ex?Valiant who become the queen's military advisor.Author Biography: Mr. Taylor's educational background includes an Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing, a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering. Many of his poems have been published. His short fiction has appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Dude, Gem, Twigs, Nexus, Pablo Lennis, Western Digest, The Augusta Spectator, and many other magazines.
