About This Book

Claire Kowalski is frustrated, fed up with a loveless life, at a job she hates. An ill-fated carjacking soon changes all this when she finds herself roomed in a hospital with Michael, a mysterious coma victim. Michael is identical to the man she visits in her dreams among dandelions and a strange crystalline structure that keeps her caged in her own fears. She accidentally "taps" into Michael's mind, letting in a force that tortures her and makes the true Michael go mad. Thus begins Claire's task, placed upon her by the grieving spirit of Michael's deceased fianc©e, Tierney, who begs Claire to revisit his mental "realm" and undo what went wrong. Also wandering through this beautiful and treacherous realm is Drake, a tuxedo-clad gentleman who guards Claire against Michael's "monster" and a selfish physician who attempts to abuse her "gift." With Drake, Claire confronts her fears, and frees Michael from the madness within him. Yet there remains a frightening choice, one of returning to her lovelorn life or, perhaps, entering an electronic eternity with someone who loves her unconditionally.
