Beautiful press photographer Cilla Callington fell in love with, and married Lyle Kerrin knowing little about him. Too absorbed in her career Cilla didn't suspect Lyle of being jealous of her male colleagues. Then Lyle disappeared and she realized just how much he meant to her. Where was he? Was he involved with, as rumour suggested, in a series of insurance frauds? Was he emotionally involved with Gina who had introduced Cilla to him? An anonymous letter lured Cilla to the Black Rabbit and she found herself suspected of a murderous attack on Gina. It was Cilla's dog Dare Devil who finally uncovered her secret enemy and reunited Cilla with Lyle.
