A family tradition on the lush, tropical Spice Island suddenly comes to an end and a once close-knit family drifts apart when the relatives leave the village and get caught up in their busy lives. Left behind in the village with Ma and Pa, Willie misses his relatives terribly, and he and Ma and Pa desperately try to reunite the family - to no avail.
