When brand-new PI, Billie Hagan, embarks on her first case -- investigating the spate of robberies connected to sleazy singles bar/club, Hot Connectionz, the last thing she needs is trouble. But trouble is what she gets. Trouble in the shape of sexy, cynical, seasoned PI, Devlin Steele. Even worse, he's investigating the very same case. Every move she makes, he's there... The moment Devlin lays eyes on do-gooder Billie, he knows she's trouble. But not how much trouble. How one person can so totally distract him from the case at hand is a mystery, but she does it.
