Gather the Children

Gather the Children follows two mutants living in the state of Texas. Their parents are from different humanoid species, but both have biological fathers from the planet Justine. One has a mother from the planet Thalia and the other from Earth. The youngest is filled with rage against the world, knowing he is a freak with two hearts and has the ability to enter another's mind when he's truly desperate. He has no one to teach him how to control his ability or stop his mad rages, until he meets MacDonald. The other mutant intends to return to his planet and reclaim his land. They must learn to navigate a confiscated spaceship between the stars, but first they need to trust each other and stay alive in a hostile, dangerous land torn by a civil war. Two strong-minded Earth females will alter both of their plans.
